Obituary: Charles B. ‘Charlie’ Call, 86, Bardstown

Charles B. “Charlie” Call, 86, of Bardstown, died Friday, Feb. 09, 2018, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born June 20, 1931, in Bardstown to the late Miller and Martha Armstrong Call. He was a retired farmer and a member of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Louise Call; two sisters, Christine White and Pluma Call; and two brothers, Marvin Call and John Call.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Bunch and Jean (Henry) Haydon, both of Bardstown; two sons, Ricky Call and Anthony Call, both of Bardstown; six 6 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

The graveside service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
